    I started working with Letizia at a time when I had unbearable back pain. I had been to several doctors, had the gamut of imaging tests, took NSAIDS, and even sought the help of a chiropractor. Nothing seemed to help. The doctors couldn't find anything glaringly wrong on the images. Pain relievers didn't offer much relief.

    Someone mentioned the possibility of a somatic response to stress and trauma that might explain the excruciating pain that I was experiencing. The pain was VERY real; it wasn't all in my head. With that advice I decided to try yoga therapy and that is what brought me to Letizia.

    Letizia is calm, nurturing, emotionally supportive, and very knowledgeable about mental health influencing our physical state. She was patient with me when I felt hopeless. I honestly didn't know where else to turn. I was desperate and she was there! When I first started working with Letizia I could barely stand to sit on the floor because of pain and discomfort. There were some days that I did more talking than practicing. Yet, at every turn she managed to gently encourage me to try something new and gave me the hope that I could get better - that my body would respond to the gentle care that yoga provides. I think that was key ... the practice of yoga and the confidence that came with learning about my body with the support of Letizia.

    For anyone who feels like they've tried everything, for those who aren't convinced that yoga can make a difference in their life, for people who have tried yoga before without much success or growth ... there is hope and Letizia will walk beside you on your journey and practice.
